Brand identity and bespoke typeface for leading Korean boy band NCT127. Nested under the SM entertainment management company, NCT is both a pop music act and an entertainment brand expanding to several markets across Asia. To support the ever-changing nature of the band’s structure and reach, MMBP & Associates created a typeface that would allow them to readily create sub-brands and add new performers while also speaking to their core philosophy and vision which is built at the intersection of new technology and culture.
